About Darkness and to Light
Darkness and to Light (Neo Destiny) is the fourth and final set in the Neo Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. In Japan, it was known as Darkness, and to Light... and it was the last expansion of the Neo Era. This set includes Pokémon from Gold, Silver, and Crystal, featuring Generation II Pokémon. The English version was released on February 28, 2002, while the Japanese version came out earlier on April 20, 2001. Neo Destiny introduced Light Pokémon, which have a unique white and gold design. These Pokémon cards have higher HP than normal and their attacks often support other Pokémon, showing their helpful nature. Some Generation I Pokémon cards use old artwork from the Red and Blue games instead of the usual Red and Green artwork. Shining Pokémon now have a non-holo background and a glossy, metallic finish.
