About Vending Series 1 (Blue)

Vending Machine Expansion Sheets are a unique twist in the Pokémon Card Game. Instead of getting cards from a booster pack, you’d get them from a vending machine on randomized sheets, and then peel the cards off. Because of this, collectors nicknamed it the Vending Machine Series, but that’s not the official name. Series 1 (Blue) and Series 2 (Red) each have 18 sheets, with three cards per sheet, plus some extra goodies like cardboard damage counters and coins. Series 3 (Green) also has 18 sheets, but with a fun bonus—a fourth card that had a non-standard back. These extra cards were usually gag cards or special cards with extra game rules or theme deck ideas.
