A special calendar made to commemorate the second anniversary of the release of the Pokemon Card Game. There is one card for each month, with a card for each day of the month. (All 623 cards, dated from January 1, 1999 to September 14, 2000). Birthday __'s Pikachu was included in the box with the calendar as a special second anniversary card.

A "Communication Evolution Campaign" was also held, where players could send in "Masaki's PC," an extra card, and any of the following cards (any series) - Yungeller, Goron, Goriki, Ghost, or Omanyte - and receive the corresponding evolved card in return.
During the campaign period, if you send a ghost along with the bonus card from the "Expansion Sheet No. 3," (Via letter. Not online)the Pokemon you sent will evolve into "Gengar" and return. There are five types in total.
Pokemon Card GB is a game version of Pokemon cards that can be played on the Game Boy and Game Boy Color. The product came with one bonus card, "Dragonite (shiny)."
